Affiliate Programmes
Affiliate programmes are another way of making money.
You find a product or company you want to promote and apply to their affiliate programme. They will look at your site (please note, it is not always necessary to have a website to promote these companies/products, you could always use an email campaign), then either accept or decline your application.
If accepted, you can log in to your account and access their promotional materials.
These will usually be in the form of text links, banners or email promotions. You then place their banner or text add on your site to advertise their product or send out emails (there are strict rules on sending out emails) and recieve a percentage of commission. Some pay more than others.
Below I have listed a number of affiliate programmes, some of which I use.

A good affiliate company with plenty of products to choose from. This company is a personal favourite of mine. Good follow up emails from a 'real' person, not just an automated email, who makes sure everything is going ok for you and to find out if there is anything they can do to help with your campaigns. One I recommend!!
Another one I recommend! Good range of product and companies to choose from and again, good communications.
Now this one is a bit different!! Good if you have a website or product of your own to promote. You can earn leads by becoming an oppseekers affiliate which you can then email about your product/site. If you don't have a product to promote you can exchange your leads for commission. Great!!
Commission Junction gives you access to a number of different affilliate programmes. Simply register with them and start applying to the programmes of your choice. Again, one I recommend, I use it myself.
Buy at is another company I use with hundreds of affiliate programmes to choose from. Register with them and apply for whichever programmes you would like to join.
Amazon runs an affiliate programme where you can create links to amazon or create your own e-store. Simple to use.
